Special Yearly Event Chair (Volunteer)

In this volunteer role, I led one of the organization’s event committees. This yearly multi-day event draws up to 250 attendees mostly from the state of Missouri and surrounding states with a few event-goers coming from as far as the coasts of the United States. During this event we give volunteers the ability to sponsor their selected cause or nonprofit and accomplish this task by coordinating volunteers from all over the state of Missouri. In addition to the philanthropic side of this event, our attendees have a multi-day chance to network and get to know others that identify similarly within the LGBT community which directly benefits their self-esteem and mental state.
